What do you think of the colors, composition, and emotion of the painting for a mid grade horse story? I think this young woman will go a long way!
The cover will be ready when I trim it a tiny bit and add the title and artist's name.

Since the start of the series I have been encouraging young people to draw their sketches for possible illustrations in The Black Pony Series. To say that this has been a success is an understatement. Not only that, it's been fun. The latest is this magnificent piece of art done by High School student and horse trainer, Cheyenne Nelson of Arizona. This one, out of a few other choices, has been chosen for the cover of the newest book, Legend of the Superstition Gold. What do you think of the colors, composition, and emotion of the painting for a mid grade horse story? I think this young woman will go a long way! The cover will be ready when I trim it a tiny bit and add the title and artist's name.

Yes, she does have talent, I think I will hire her for more illustrations, and I think she'd be happy to bid on other jobs as well.
